As a Canadian here is my thoughts
1) Ecole politecnique mass shooting was by the son of a muslim immigrant who was raised in an anti man house by his canadian mother. Media always uses the name his mother called him post divorce, never his birth name that he went by. Because Marc sounds more Canadian than Gamil Gharbi.
2) The marritime mass shooting Turdeau used to justify gun confiscation has a lot of unanswered questions. It went on for hours and in the first few minutes they new the shooter was dressed as an RCMP officer, and was driving a police cruiser, yet hid that info for 8 hours to prevent alarming the public. Most of those killed were shot opening their doors for what they believed was an RCMP officer. The shooter also was an rcmp informant. The official report has more holes than a crackheads underwear.
3) turdeau used a motion of council to ban guns (like an executive order) and gave the rcmp the right to add to the list as they see fit and the list changes so often it is hard to jeep abreast of legal status for any given model. Mostly based on appearance.
4) natives, who commit gun crime at a rate of 10x europeans, are semi exempt from the ban.
5) SKS is the most popular gun with native hunters so that is why it isnt banned.
6) The buy back is a joke, if you hand in a gun you get a check years later and its only a tiny % value.
7) its not for safety its for control and oppression.

Silly Me & I thought that my former state of insanity (California) was bad. (Conn. is even worse with all of its BS by the way) All I can say is that I hope that you good folks up there organize and get rid of these so-called leaders. That and thanks for the update about your 1984 style country. I shall pray for our GREAT ALLIES!!
