Carney and his circus of looters telegraph their plans through the media and their useful idiots.
In the 90’s when Quebec had a referendum on seperation the liberals threw money at them to stay, gave them exemption from federal rules they disliked etc. Alberta at that time wished Quebec well, made jokes about them but never blocked the vote.
Now Alberta is looking at seperation with a vote on the decision to have a referendum this October. In this case you have the federal Liberals saying the vote should be illegal, they funded a group of 1st nations bands to sue Alberta to block the vote. There basis is that the 1st nations should have the right to overrule the voting rights of Albertans. The Chiefs involved in the law suit asked the court to arrest anyone who signed the petition for treason. You have Quebec trying to block Alberta leaving and you have federally funded groups getting the courts to force the release of the petition sheets unredacted… That means those groups will have the names, addresses and phone numbers of the 170k petition signers
Things will be very ugly come October 18th, Carney has a plan and I have no doubt it involves crushing his opponents.
He’s managed to blackmail / bribe enough opposition MP’s to cross the floor that he now has a majority and no way to block anything he wants to do. In one case an MP crossed the floor so the rcmp would drop the charges against her son. If an MP crosses the electorate can’t do anything till the next election.
It would be like if the Democrats could openly bribe a Republican congress critter to switch sides openly and sit on dems side.
F*CK, And I thought we were in a mess!! As to bribes, well it has happened before and will most likely happen again. Especially if the GOP can maintain its hold on both houses. All I know is that our Enemies must be laughing their butts off at US!
