I had a Buddy of mine, that let me shoot his a couple of times. Where I found it to be a typical Luger. What with a lousy sight system, that always aimed low for me. But it also gathered a crowd very quickly at the Range we were at. Go figure huh!

All I can say is that the 308 Norma is not for the young or inexperienced shooter. I.E. That & i t has some serious snap, recoil, plus the ammo at least for me is expensive & hard to find!
Also what ever you do. Please do not try and use regular 308 ammo. Or I see an expensive trip to the Gunsmith in the future!

The butt plate is carved from a piece of moose antler, and lightly scrimshawed then sealed against the elements.
The detail of the engraving on the receiver as well as the jeweling on the bolt.The trigger guard and bottom metal are engraved with this same pattern.
The rifle has also been fitted with a high quality leather sling of the M1907 type, fully adjustable. Held in place by quick detach swivels.
The caliber is .30-06. A fine example of a classic hunting rifle for thin skinned game animals.
