Beautiful tanks! A little large for cobblestone streets in Berlin. I once received a call of a 40th Armor M60 vs. a Berliner VW. Allegedly, (as they say now) an end connector caught the rear fender of the parked bug during a left turn. There was nothing alleged about it. The track picked up the VW and threw it at a nearby telephone pole where it impaled the roof on a climbing spike. It was still hanging there when I went 97. I’m sure the Army had a big slush fund to cover the tanks roaming around Berlin looking for Russian tank battalions.
Thanks for the good story & taking the time for my humble blog! Grumpy
