War Well I thought it was neat!

Back when war had some class & real glory

Representation of the meeting between the Danish frigate Løvendals Galley, under the command of Tordenskjold, and the Swedish-operated English privateering frigate De Olbing Galley, on the Swedish west coast. During the lengthy battle, the Danish vessel ran out of gunpowder for their cannons, and following the sharing of a few drinks between both commanders, the vessels went their separate ways. Painted by the Danish artist Christian Mølsted

Ran out of gunpowder, but still had something to drink.
The very definition of a sailor.
