45 colt hands down, only because i see it in store occasionally but have never seen 44-40. I prefer a gun that i have a chance of finding ammo for.
True enough as I am now in mourning for the no longer manufactured 257 Roberts! Anyways the 45 Long Colt is a fine round & I really doubt that it is in any danger of not being reproduced! Thanks for reading my Humble Blog! Grumpy
