I actually have the same revolver. The only difference is that mine lacks the screw that is about 3/4″ forward of the top break latch. Mine has the same patent information along the top of the barrel. It’s in about the same condition as the one pictured, but has a chip in one of the grips.

I found it in an old gun store in a display where they kept a number of small derelict revolvers in various states of disrepair. They were mostly old drug store revolvers from around the turn of the 20th Century and chambered in .32 S&W or .38 S&W. Mine wouldn’t even move when I bought it for 50 bucks. I took it home, removed the grips, and let it soak in Kroil for hours before I cleaned it up. It came right back to life.

Test fired it with some .32 S&W and it shot point of aim and even grouped at about 12 feet. Was much more accurate than the other .32 I bought at the same time. The second was an H&R named “THE AMERICAN DOUBLE ACTION”.

Thanks for the post. I never thought I’d ever see another one of these little H&A guns. It’s a nice relic from a company that ceased production in 1916.
