One has to be VERY careful with how they grip this pistol. Meaning that if you grip too high. You run a chance of the upper slide coming back and cutting you right above the web of your hand. At least that was my experience. I finally lost the scars on my hand just a few years ago. When I shot my good Buddy Bill gun. Grumpy
