Some good news from an unbelievable area

In the Belly of the Beast

I’m surprised, but pleased:

Second Amendment Advocates Score Victory In New Jersey

An initiative spearheaded by the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA) and the New Jersey Firearms Owners Syndicate (NJFOS), with the robust backing of the National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA), has seen Englishtown, New Jersey, pass a resolution to refund the municipal portion of permit to carry fees to applicants.

This success marks the beginning of a concerted effort by the three organizations to replicate the refund resolution across the entire Garden State.

At the heart of this movement are New Jersey’s current permit-to-carry fees, which stand at $200. A significant $150 of this fee goes directly to the local municipality.

Critics argue that a negligible amount of these funds actually covers the administrative costs of issuing permits, strongly suggesting the fee is “strictly punitive in nature” and designed to discourage citizens from exercising their Second Amendment rights.

This is in New Jersey!

Leadership of the highest kind Soldiering The Green Machine This great Nation & Its People War

One of the great unsung heroes of this great nation of ours. George Marshall

This is a man, name of George Marshall. Who almost completely rebuilt the US Army from basically a bad joke to the greatest killing machine that the world has ever seen. Led by for the most part, some of the best Generals that the green machine had seen since the Civil War.

All of them having been hand picked by this man with his “little black book”. Folks like Eisenhowser, Patton, Bradley, Truscott, Gavin, Ridgeway, Van Fleet, Roberts and this list could go on for a very long time.

But in the same time, it was the only Army that should see out in the liberated territory . Where the locals would be out in the open to greet the GI’s. Every other army would have the locals hiding and seeing how the troops would behave. Before coming out to greet them or not. Quite a testament to him and his Troops if you ask me.

I also really do believe that the butchers bill for the Army would of been MUCH more higher with a long list of defeats in War II added to it. If he had not been in charge when he was.

Here is some more about this amazing man. Grumpy

Delaware: Gov. Carney Signs Anti-Gun Bills & General Assembly Adjourns

Delaware: Gov. Carney Signs Anti-Gun Bills & General Assembly Adjourns

Yesterday, Governor John Carney signed all of the anti-gun bills that the General Assembly sent to his desk. This surprised no one, as he announced his support for these schemes early on. They include a ban on many commonly-owned firearms, a ban on many standard-capacity magazines, discriminating against young adults, and allowing lawsuits to bankrupt the firearm industry regardless of whether there is a violation of the law. To read more about the bills that were signed, click here and here.

We thank all of the NRA members and Second Amendment supporters who came together to repeatedly express their opposition to their elected officials throughout the whole legislative process. Though the anti-gun majorities in the General Assembly were determined to pass these bills from the start, this opposition helped amend some of the bills to alleviate the impact on law-abiding citizens.

The General Assembly has adjourned. NRA will be back in Dover for the 2023 legislative session. In the meantime, please stay tuned to www.nraila.org and your email inbox.
