I have been lucky enough to shot one of these. It was almost as fun as a Unannounced School day closure!
As an added bonus, it is as accurate as hell for me at least at 100 yards!
Now this is what I call a Real Character Rifle! As obvious it has been around the block a couple of times! Grumpy
By the way. If you get a chance to fire the .25-35 Winchester . I found it to be a real sweetheart of a round. I.E. Very accurate under 100 yards and very easy on the old shoulder. (That means a mild recoil!)
Myself I do NOT like the “New” look of the 629. The old model was much classier in my humble opinion!
