Glory is always fading, later on a lot of antinukes nuts made life for them miserable

But if it was not for them, I would not be alive today! As my Dad would of been in the invasion of Japan. Grumpy

I would probably not be here either.
My father was a Corpsman and his group was evidently scheduled to be on one of the first groups going in. After the landing they were not mentioned in the plans. At least that is what he told me.
Truman was his hero. He kept a life magazine with Truman on the cover in a glass case out front in our business.
His kabar and Corpsman Bolo knife are in that case with stuff he collected in Japan and other islands. He was a collector.
