So you want a great 30-06. But do not want to spend a fortune on some of the new junk out there!
Then you might want to consider an Old Timer like this. The reasons being is the following.
In that somebody else out there has already sent the time and money to fix this fine old Rifle.
Next the 30-06 is still one of the best calibers out there. In that it comes in a variety of loads and bullet weights. So you could if you wanted to. Go shoot most varmints and then go forth on the same day. And confidently go after all the big mastys out there in North America and most of the game overseas!
Lastly I doubt that a similar rifle like this one will go for more than $400. That and the worst case all you will probably have to do is put on a newer scope and a recoil pad, Then to the range to zero it in and you are good to go! Grumpy
