Hard work and some luck pays off!

In May, Elon Musk, the billionaire Tesla and SpaceX CEO tweeted that he would be “selling almost all physical possessions. Will own no house.” A few days later, he listed four stunning mansions in Los Angeles for sale for a total of $137 million. Elon Musk’s House portfolio holds Gene Wilder’s former home, a $30 million mansion in Los Angeles, and a historic 100-year-old mansion on the San Francisco Peninsula. In this article, we take a look at the breathtaking houses owned by the world’s first billionaire renter.

At one point, Musk owned several properties across the greater Los Angeles area collectively worth over a whopping $70 million. Musk purchased his first piece of Bel-Air real estate in late 2012. He started by renting the same house in 2010; he lived there with his family. He later bought the mansion for $17 million. This Elon Musk house has 20,248 sprawls over square feet with a total of seven bedrooms and thirteen baths. The kitchen features a beautiful brick ceiling. The backyard has a beautiful pool, a spacious tennis court, and a picturesque view of the exclusive Bel-Air Country Club. The home also houses a gym and a wine cellar. This 20,248-square-foot property was the beginning of it all, the first and the largest of his Bel Air estates to go after Musk had tweeted about his goal to the world, the property had been up for sale with an asking price of $30 million and had sold for $29.72 million to William Ding, a Chinese billionaire The sum is reportedly about $5.5 million more than what the Tesla CEO paid when buying it in 2016.

This stunning Elon Musk’s house was located a little away from his mansion for $6.75 million in October 2013. Yes, Elon Musk owned the house of the late actor Gene Wilders, which he had purchased to “preserve the spirit of Gene Wilder”. Beloved actor Gene Wilder lived there for over 30 years until 2007. In a 2015 interview with Vogue, the billionaire CEO described it as “like a little schoolhouse on the prairie, except in Bel-Air on a golf course.” Though Musk never lived in the house, he had used it as a private school—named AdAstra—for his children and children of some of the SpaceX and Tesla employees. While selling the house, the Tesla CEO made it clear that the buyer must not harm the house’s “soul” or tear it down. “Just one stipulation on sale: I own Gene Wilder’s old house. It cannot be torn down or lose any of its soul.” Musk tweeted. Soon, it was revealed that he had sold the Wilder estate to Elizabeth Hunter, the wife of Wilder’s nephew Jordan Walker-Perlman, for $7 million in an off-market deal.  It was also reported that the tech mogul lent as much as $6.7 million to help them buy the property too.

This boomerang-shaped Elon Musk’s house in Brentwood, California, about 15 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles was previously owned by Elon Musk. Musk paid just under $3.7 million for it in 2014, per the Variety-owned real-estate site Dirt. The building is surrounded by privacy hedges for security but has floor-to-ceiling giant windows throughout to let the daylight in. Musk sold the home for $4 million in late August 2019, stated a Business Insider report. Way before he publicly declared his intentions, Musk had already sold a 0.28-acre modern house in Brentwood, only about 20 minutes away from his six former Chalon-Somera properties. He sold it in August 2019 for $3.9 million, the property had reportedly cost the Tesla CEO about $3.7 million in 2014.

The billionaire techie purchased another Bel-Air mansion while it was still under construction for $24.25 million in 2016, Variety reported that year. Notably, Musk doesn’t own a home near the Tesla factory in Fremont, California. He has previously shared that he slept on a couch or the floor of a conference room during busy production periods.

In a Zillow listing, the four of Musk’s remaining properties in Bel Air had a combined asking price of $62.5 million and an interesting description to go with: “A project for the big thinker, designed to showcase one of the best views in Los Angeles – from the city to the ocean and beyond.” The properties, all unique in architecture and their worth ranging between $4 million to $30 million, made him a profit of about $6.8 million.

Now, after almost a year of emptying his material baggage, it has all come down to one gigantic 100-year-old mansion near San Jose. The Hillsborough estate is built on 47 acres of land, with 9 bedrooms, 9.5 baths, and just about anything you could dream of including hiking trails, canyons, a big ballroom, and a reservoir! Originally listed for $35 million in May 2020, it seems Musk has taken down the listing for now. However, according to reports, there is every possibility that the home will be relisted and Musk will complete his quest to get rid of all his real estate assets.

Man with WWI explosive lodged in his rectum sparks bomb scare, hospital evacuation

The case left doctors shell-shocked.

A French hospital was partially evacuated Saturday after a senior citizen arrived with a World War I artillery shell lodged in his rectum.

The 88-year-old patient visited Hospital Sainte Musse in Toulon to have the antique explosive removed — but instead sparked a “bomb scare,” French publication Var-Matin reported.

“An emergency occurred from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday evening that required the intervention of bomb disposal personnel, the evacuation of adult and pediatric emergencies as well as the diversion of incoming emergencies,” a hospital spokesperson stated.

“We had to manage the risk in a reactive framework,” the rep added. “When in doubt, we took all the precautions.”

The World War I weaponry measured almost 8 inches in length and more than 2 inches in girth.

Bomb disposal experts at the scene determined there was little possibility the shell would explode inside the man.

“They reassured us by telling us that it was a collector’s item from the First World War, used by the French military,” the hospital stated.

Stunned doctors subsequently began the process of trying to remove the object — which measured almost 8 inches long and more than 2 inches wide — from the man’s rectum.

"We had to manage the risk in a reactive framework,” a hospital spokesperson declared. “When in doubt, we took all the precautions."

It’s believed the pervy patient inserted the item up his anus for sexual pleasure.

“An apple, a mango, or even a can of shaving foam, we are used to finding unusual objects inserted where they shouldn’t be,” one doctor declared. “But a shell? Never!”

Medics were forced to take the elderly man into surgery, cutting open his abdomen in order to remove the relic.

According to the hospital, he is now in “good health” and is expected to make a full recovery from the surgery.

Gas Station Owner Hires Security Guards with AR-15s: ‘We Are Tired of the Nonsense’

Philadelphia gas station owner Neil Patel hired security guards with AR-15s to deal with all the “nonsense, drug trafficking, hanging around, [and] gangs” endangering his employees.

Patel, who has a Karco gas station, hired “Pennsylvania S.I.T.E Agents clad with Kevlar vest and AR-15s or shotguns” to keep his employees safe, FOX 29 reports.

“They are forcing us to hire the security, high-level security, state level. We are tired of this nonsense: robbery, drug trafficking, hanging around, gangs,” Patel said.

The guards he hired wear Kevlar vests and train regularly, maintaining firearm proficiency.

Prior to hiring the guards, Patel’s car was vandalized and an ATM was stolen from his gas station. But FOX News notes Patel’s observation that crimes–including loitering–ended once he hired security.

Person Of Interest In Custody After 4 Oklahoma Men Who Left Home To ‘Hit A Lick’ Were Found Shot And Dismembered

A person of interest is in custody after four men were found shot and dismembered in an Oklahoma river.

by Martie Bowser

The bodies of four men retrieved from an Oklahoma river have now been identified. According to CNN, Mark Chastain, 32; Billy Chastain, 30; Mike Sparks, 32; and Alex Stevens, 29, were recovered on Oct. 14 from a river in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Their remains were found shot and dismembered.

According to BuzzFeed News, Okmulgee Police Chief Joe Prentice held a press conference in which he stated that the men were last seen leaving Billy Chastain’s house around 8 p.m. on bicycles “pulling trailers.” The men, whom police described as close friends, might have been up to no good when they went missing on Oct. 9.

Based on a witness’s information provided to the police, the victims planned to commit “some type of criminal act” when they left the house. The witness told investigators that the men were planning to “‘hit a lick’ big enough for all of them,” Prentice said, BuzzFeed News reports.

“That is common terminology for engaging in some type of criminal behavior, but we do not know what they were planning or where they planned to do it,” he said, according to CNN.

Although police were unsure what the men were planning to do, investigators were able to trace their movements to a salvage yard and a local gas station. They traced the men by using data provided by an app on Mark Chastain’s wife’s phone. The men left the station and then visited a second scrapyard located south of Okmulgee, and Chastain’s phone then turned off. Police said they believe a violent event on a nearby property led to the men’s deaths.

The four bodies were found on Oct. 14 after a passerby called the police about seeing something suspicious only partly submerged in the river.

Authorities identified human remains and recovered the men’s bodies. Due to the state of the remains, the bodies were not confirmed to belong to the missing men until Sunday night.

“I’ve worked over 80 murders in my career. I have worked murders involving multiple victims. I have worked dismemberments, but this case involves the highest number of victims, and it’s a very violent event,” Prentice said. “So I can’t say that I’ve never worked anything like it, but it’s right up there at the top.”

Prentice went on to reveal that the cause and manner of death is still pending, however each victim had gunshot wounds and all four bodies were dismembered before being dumped in the river.

“That is what caused difficulty in determining identity, and that’s why it took so long,”  Prentice said, according to BuzzFeed News.

The owner of the two salvage yards, Joe Kennedy, was named a person of interest in the killings, and went missing shortly after his initial interrogation. Investigators spoke with Kennedy on Oct. 14, when the men’s remains were discovered in a nearby river but were not yet positively identified.

Prentice said that Kennedy “appeared to be cooperative” and “was not antagonistic.”

Shortly after the announcement that the bodies had been identified, police located Kennedy’s vehicle but not Kennedy himself. His blue PT Cruiser was found abandoned in Morris, Oklahoma, and police were unsure how it arrived there.

On Oct. 18, Kennedy, 67, was arrested in Florida after driving a vehicle that was reported stolen on Monday. He was booked into Volusia County Branch Jail on charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle, where he is being held without bond. He’s also being held on a warrant from Okmulgee County related to a different shooting in 2012. Kennedy is set to appear before a Volusia County judge on Wednesday.

“The District Attorney and the Sheriff will begin the process of getting Kennedy back to Okmulgee County. … The murder investigation is ongoing and investigators continue to follow leads every day,” police said in a statement, according to CNN.Search underway for four missing men | Okmulgee Times—————————————————————————————-
