One of the few thing that Russia made that I really loved!

The SKS was and is one of the best guns that Russia ever made. That & I still hold that its better than the AK-47. In that its a lot more sturdier and more accurate. Plus as an added feature the recoil is next to nothing comapred to the AK ! Grumpy
