After The Pussification

 After The Pussification
For those who’ve been living on another planet for the past two decades. I once wrote a screed called The Pussification Of The Western Male, which took about an hour to write and was a stream-of-consciousness rant against the demeaning of men in Western society.
The piece  garnered an immediate and voluminous online response (thank you, Insty), caused my host’s (website and email) servers to crash and necessitated finding a new host because they kicked me off.
The responses I got in the mail — I didn’t allow comments at that stage — were interesting. A large number, of course, were vituperative squeals from feministicals and their girlymen cohorts, and included death threats and threats of violence against me and my family.
(Most of those disappeared when I responded to them by email with my home address, and an invitation to take their best shot — and to bring a gun, because I surely would.)
All sorts of liberal websites climbed on, garnering me awards such as “Worst Blogger On The Internet” (although, upon recollection, that award may have been for Let Africa Sink, another crowd-pleaser).
Almost all the hysteria was pure projection, for example: “He wants men to go back to being cavemen!” when even a cursory reading of the essay would have noted that I wanted precisely the opposite.
Another example: “OMG! He wants to take the vote away from womyns!” when all I actually wrote was that giving the vote to women may not necessarily have been a Good Idea because since that time, government has become increasingly nanny-ish and intrusive (which is true in almost every country in the world, and not just in the United States).
I even offered a reward of $10,000 to anyone who could find — anywhere in my writings, not just in Pussification — an instance where I’d actually advocated disenfranchising women. Crickets.
What was also interesting was that I got several thousands of emails  from men who agreed with me — and well over five hundred from women who likewise felt the same and were either married to Real Men themselves, or who wanted real men to come back.
What I didn’t write in the essay, and should have, was to predict that if men continued to be marginalized, they would eventually quit the game altogether — because men, accustomed to playing competitively, have a keen sense when the rules of the game are tilted against them and just quit as a result.
In modern-day parlance, this would be the Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW) movement. Here’s an old joke about just that:

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl “Will you marry me?” The girl said, “NO!” And the guy rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf a lot and drank beer and Scotch and had tons of money in the bank and slept with lots of different women and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted and lived happily ever after.
The End.

I also didn’t predict — because, as I said, I wrote the piece in an hour and didn’t think through the process — that men would start using the outcome of feminism to their own advantage: that if women were entitled to be like men and have casual sex like men, then men could take advantage of that mindset and design a process to make the whole thing a lot easier (because men build systems; it’s what we do).
Thus the Pickup Artist (PUA) movement, which basically teaches Beta men how to simulate being Alpha and score with women. (Alpha men already know how to seduce women, and don’t need to have it systematized and codified.) Here’s an example of how a PUA turns a situation around:

She: “You’re not my type.”
He: “You’re not my type either. But you’ll have to do until someone thinner comes along.”

It’s a masterpiece: using a prime part of female negative self-image (all women think they’re overweight, regardless of actual tonnage) to throw her off-balance and make her vulnerable to his next approach. Another classic, this time in a debate or argument:

She: A man shouldn’t date a woman for over a year without making some kind of commitment.
He: I guess I missed the memo that gave you the power to decide how I should act.

At some point, of course, men were bound to rebel against this crappy status quo; my little rant was just a precursor to the reaction. (Note that I’m not claiming any kind of authorship of, or responsibility for that rebellion — I’m not that big-headed. But I think that my rage was indicative of what was to follow.)
And if those feminists and liberal girlymen had listened to what I was actually saying and not projected all their silliness onto my words, they would not have been at all surprised by situations like GamerGate, Sad Puppies, the alt-Right (an interesting take on the last can be found here), and the like.
There was also bound to be a reaction against political correctness as well as to the pussification of men — the two are linked, albeit tenuously at times.
It seems clear, however, that the liberal establishment (which included feminists and academia) were blinded by their own arrogance and feelings of moral superiority. Well, guess what?
Not everyone was going to submit to their little control-freak games, and now we have an interesting cultural polarization which rivals the political polarization.
It’s the same phenomenon: don’t minimize me and set me apart, then complain when I create my own rules for my own game.
When the rules are tilted and people feel slighted, they are inevitably going to withdraw from the process, whether it’s Brexit, MGTOW or electing Donald Trump as President.

For those who are curious to see what all the fuss was about, I’ve re-published Pussification under the fold. Bear in mind that this was published in 2003 so many of the references are pretty dated by now, but the main thrust of the argument is still relevant today.

And by the way: I’d also like to thank all those assholes out there who published the piece in its entirety without my consent and despite my complaints / requests to desist, and who even bowdlerized the fucking thing so as not to offend the tender sensibilities of their few readers. Did I already mention they were assholes?
Yep I am an asshole! Grumpy

First Sergeant Not Guilty For Summary Execution Of Shitbag BY MAXX BUTTHURT

FORT DRUM — Soldiers across the Army are expressing their outrage today after 1st Sgt. Grant Sullivan was found not guilty in a case of murder in the first degree, citing an obscure military regulation dating back from the time of the Civil War. Sullivan was arrested on Jun. 9, 2013, after he shot Pvt. Martin Wembly in the head with his 9mm pistol during an altercation on a live fire range.
“The little shit was always at an appointment, or claiming he needed to talk to a counselor every time I needed him to do something,” Sullivan explained after his arrest. “Of course when I would tell him the only appointments available were on a Friday afternoon he’d suddenly feel a lot better.”
“I swear to God I think he was bribing the PA to sign all those profile slips. Who the hell can’t take a PT test because of vertigo?” he asked.
Witnesses to the fatal altercation stated that Wembly, widely recognized as a “shammer,” refused to join the range police call, claiming he had a condition aggravated by “dust and other allergens.”
“1st Sgt. got real quiet, then pulled out this old-ass looking handbook and flipped through a few pages,” said Spc. Thomas Edgewater, who was present during the event.
“Next thing I know, Wembly was on his knees blubbering and 1st Sgt. had a gun pointed at his head. Then it was over. It took almost an hour to clean up the mess,” Edgewater shuddered at the memory.
During the trial Sullivan’s lawyer argued that Article 17.2 in the War Department Manual for Military Justice, established in 1847, allowed a senior commissioned or non-commissioned officer to exercise capital punishment when the nation was at war or in a period of sustained conflict. US involvement in the War on Terror met the criteria, and since the law had never been formally repealed by the newer Uniform Code of Military Justice, it was still valid. The jury, made up of senior military personnel, unanimously agreed.
Though Wembly’s family and Specialists Without Borders, the lobby group for junior enlisted soldiers, were in an uproar over the verdict, the Pentagon supported Sullivan and the outcome of the trial.
In a prepared statement, Pentagon Spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said, “While the Department of Defense believes summary execution to be an extreme and usually unnecessary measure in most disciplinary cases, the Chief of Staff applauds 1st Sgt. Sullivan’s thorough understanding of military regulations and encourages all non-commissioned officers to attain the same level of legal proficiency.”

Seekins 6.5 CM – Semi Auto Powerhouse by CLAY MARTIN

The Seekins Precision SP10 in 6.5 Creedmoor is a true long-range semi-auto performer.

The world has been waiting for a reliable, available, semi-auto AR platform in 6.5 Creedmoor and today we have it. I got my hands on the latest Seekins Precision SP10 in 6.5, and it did not disappoint.
Why we haven’t seen more semi-auto rifles in this caliber, I do not understand. The 6.5 Creedmoor uses the same bolt as a 308, and in most platforms, the same magazine. That a 6.5 Creedmoor bullet will absolutely out fly a 308 is without question. It also does it with less recoil, which really makes me wonder why anyone would choose 308 in this day and age.
The Seekins Precision model we used for testing is the SP10 6.5, though we have a pre-production model. The chief difference between our test model and what you will be able to buy is the stock. Ours came with a Magpul PRS III, which is a fine stock. But Seekins Precision isn’t about fine. They are about perfect. Seeing the shortcomings of available options, this year they are getting into the stock business as well. Rolling out later this month, Seekins will have an in-house built precision stock, worthy of this rifle.
The SP10 is feature rich.  It has a 60-degree ambi safety and custom in-house billet Seekins diamond plate textured magazine and bolt release. The SP10 right side bolt release is also a bolt lock, making this model fully ambidextrous. The charging handle is oversized and right hand only, but you should only need it once on this semi-auto. From the factory, the Timney Competition Trigger is set at 3 pounds.

The left side of the SP10 features a bolt release, mag release and 60-degree ambi safety.

The bolt release on the right side of the SP10 both locks open and releases the bolt and features the Seekins Precision custom texture that you can also see on the magazine release and ambi safety.

The handguard is unique on the SP10, and M-lok compatible. The shape is a little unorthodox, but in practice works great. It has flat sides that angle to a top rail, and the bottom is totally flat. Trapezoid is the shape that comes to mind, though that is not quite correct. The flat bottom is extremely useful for positional shooting, and I really grew to like it during testing. Details like this really start to matter when you are field shooting, not just slinging lead from the bench. The gun screams quality and is really a work of art.

The SP10 has a match grade stainless steel barrel. The SP10 handguard is flat on the bottom and sides which gives it some big advantages shooting off of different rests.

The barrel is 22 inches, optimized to give the Creedmoor enough velocity to do its job. The length and profile were clearly done for accuracy, this is no lightweight princess. The barrel tapers from a heavy profile to the gas block and a mid profile after. The heavy profile under the handguard is fluted to reduce some weight, but it is still plenty thick. This would be my one complaint about the rifle, though many would argue that the solution is called biceps, and you get them at the gym. The gun isn’t actually that heavy. Seekins specifies 10 pounds, though my home scale says 10.6. For caliber, that actually isn’t overweight. But the front heaviness of the rifle makes it feel like 15. Having carried this thing around for a week, I was actually shocked to see the real weight. Seekins has a reputation for accuracy and obviously weren’t’ willing to risk that on a lighter profile barrel.

One thing I can’t complain about is the performance. With Hornady match ammo, the SP 10 delivered ½ inch 100-meter groups. This was followed by an 8 inch 1025 yard group, in the wind. Anything past 200 for me is done in terrain, so I would speculate the SP10 is actually capable of more than that accuracy wise on a flat range. Those are very impressive numbers for a semi-auto rifle, actually outpacing all but the best bolt guns.

The Seekins Precision SP10 6.5 Creedmoor loved the Hornady Match ammo printing a 1/2 inch 100 meter group. The really impressive performance was the eight inch group at 1025 meters.

All in all the SP10 performed admirably. The Seekins muzzle break, combined with the overall weight, crushed any felt recoil. The accuracy was outstanding, as were the fit and finish. If you are looking for a rifle for either hunting, gun games, or tactical use, this one is a champion. At an MSRP of $2650, it isn’t cheap. But if you want out of the box performance, that is the price of doing business.

Between the weight of the rifle and the Seekins ATC muzzle brake the SP10 is very easy to shoot with minimal recoil.

Gun Bloggers vent fury as YouTube bans firearms videos, switch to PornHub

Gun vloggers vent fury as YouTube bans firearms videos, switch to PornHub
Gun rights activists, bloggers and second amendment advocates are outraged at YouTube’s ban on videos and channels which promote websites that sell firearms and accessories. And some believe Pornhub is the solution.
Online gun vlogger InRangeTv has already begun migrating their videos to Pornhub. The group referred to YouTube’s rule changes as “vague” and “one-sided.”
“PornHub has a history of being a proactive voice in the online community, as well as operating a resilient and robust video streaming platform,” InRangeTv wrote in an online statement. RT.com has also contacted PornHub regarding InRange TV’s decision to migrate to the platform.

Google, which owns YouTube, introduced the new policy which bans the promotion of guns and upgrades such as bump stocks, as well instructional videos, following a wave of gun control activism in the aftermath of the Parkland high school shooting. There have been multiple shooting incidents at schools across the US in the interim.
“We routinely make updates and adjustments to our enforcement guidelines across all of our policies,” a YouTube spokesperson told RT.com. “While we’ve long prohibited the sale of firearms, we recently notified creators of updates we will be making around content promoting the sale or manufacture of firearms and their accessories.”

YouTube videos showing how to convert, manufacture or upgrade firearms are now also prohibited. However, as Sean Davis, co-founder of The Federalist pointed out, videos showing how to maintain firearms could also fall under such a broad description and be removed from the platform.

YouTube has started suspending the accounts of major gun and accessory manufacturers. But don’t worry, videos on how to make bombs or meth are still available on @YouTube. https://www.facebook.com/spikestactical/photos/a.374278663663.161078.341592968663/10156198720438664/?type=3&theater

Here’s the new YouTube policy on gun videos. As written, it could even ban videos on how to safely clean a gun, since you have to disassemble/reassemble the firearm to clean it. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7667605

Others argued that the decision would impinge on US citizens’ First Amendment rights. YouTube has already been embroiled in a recent and an ongoing scandal involving the demonetization or removal of many channels, often conservative or politically controversial. However, as a private company, YouTube is not bound by the First Amendment with regards to what it allows to be published on its platform, reports The Washington Post.

“We suspect it will be interpreted to block much more content than the stated goal of firearms and certain accessory sales,” the National Shooting Sports Foundation said in a statement“We see the real potential for the blocking of educational content that serves instructional, skill-building and even safety purposes. Much like Facebook, YouTube now acts as a virtual public square. The exercise of what amounts to censorship, then, can legitimately be viewed as the stifling of commercial free speech.”
YouTube’s new rules will take effect in April but several users have reportedly been banned already and others have had their videos removed for policy violations. Spike’s Tactical had its channel temporarily taken down but was reinstated after it was “mistakenly removed,” according to a YouTube spokesperson.

The Bad Gun Shop

Image result for the worst gun shop
**********TRIGGER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*********
The Anti Gun Folks Best Ally
Now I have observed way too many times in too many Shops. The following dumb stuff that Gun Shop folks have done.
For Example
If you are a Female you are going to be patronized. For example-I have actually heard the following Terms. “Little Lady, Girl, The Better Half etc etc. Image result for patronising terms women just hate memes
Now I am sure that most women just love hearing that. Right Ladies?
Take this for example. Which Is red hot gospel as it happened to me and my Wife.
(Now my wife is a very nice woman & holds a Phd. from a first rate University.  So she is not a dummy)
So what happened? “The Boss” was very patiently waiting for me to finish up some paperwork in order to buy my gun. So she asked what I thought was a pretty innocent question about the differences between a couple of guns.
What happened next just about made me lose it. This “Clerk” said it is just too complicated for her to understand. That and he have better things to do right now.
(Later on I had a little talk / verbal abuse about this with the owner.)
Needless to say she now refuses rightfully, I think. To never, ever set foot in there again. Can you blame her?
**********Another Trigger Warning**********
I have also have heard various racial terms which I will not repeat.  Now I am NOT a Racist or Bleeding Heart Liberal or whatever the current terms are.
As I can learn very quickly to dislike a person. But it does not matter at all to me. On what your Race, Creed, Color or whatever your problem is to me. That is not the issue.Related image
For me it is simple as this. I will treat you with respect and I expect the same from you.
But the problems is this by doing these dumb things. We are hurting really ourselves. By making the rest of the Gun fraternity look really bad to everyone else.
Which in turn we piss off potential friends and allies in the fight to save our 2nd Amendment Rights.
Plus we are basically throwing that person’s money and dignity into their faces. Does not not seem to me to be a good political or good business plan.
________________________________

Now this is not about the Nice Folks that I have met over the years in a very few shops, They probably know this also. All I can say is God Bless you and keep up the Good Work!

As to those other folks. Well I think that anyone who have ever been to one than one gun shop. Has had the same experiences. Since it goes something like this generally.
When you going around and you see a Gun Shop and since you have a little time to yourself. So you decide to go in and check it out.
Here then begins the dance. If you are not a White Old Male and even that sometimes.
You will be ignored. Or failing that you will hear in a very menacing voice, “Can I help you?”
Then to be either ignored or watched extremely carefully. All the while the owner or staff has their hand on their holstered gun. That they all seem to carry.
At this point one has a choice. Either just leave or take the risk of talking to this person. If you go for it. Here is what is probably going to happen.
1.You ask a question and get a long explanation.
2.You are ignored.
3.You are told that this a bad choice and you should buy this instead.
4.It is not in stock but you can buy this more expensive item.
5. Or you get called a nasty name either to your face or to your back.
In closing maybe it’s time that we stand up to this little tyrants? What are your thoughts?
